Financial
Management Experience
- Bank Employee:
For 26 years, Betty has ensured customers' financial prosperity and
secured their assets against fraudulent activity.
Teller Supervisor
for 13 years, currently vault teller. Other duties include basic teller
functions, provide customer service, protect customer information
and recently received award for detection of fraud.
- Voluntary Treasurer,
Lincoln County Fair: For 12 years, Betty has protected the Fair's assets
and promoted its fiscal growth.
As Fair Treasurer
pay monthly bills, count and deposited all money during the Fair
and throughout the year. Reconcile bank statements, prepare reports
for monthly board meeting and tax preparers. Prepare annual report
for board members to prepare budget for the following year.

to Community
- Betty is driven
by her compassion for Lincoln County residents, especially those without
caregivers.
- As a longtime resident
of Lincoln County, Betty serves the community through her dedication
to church, civic organizations and county government winning the 2004
Lincoln County Democrats "Grassroots Award."
About the
Public Administrator Position
The Public Administrator
is a countywide elected office with a four year term. The Public Administrator
is an elected official who is assigned custodial and administrative responsibility
for the estates of deceased persons and the persons and estates of minors
and incapacitated or disabled persons when there is no legal guardian
or conservator or when no one competent to assume such duties is known
or can be found. When ordered by the Court to assume such duties, the
Public Administrator provides for the proper care of the person and protects
the assets of an estate against injury, waste, theft, or loss.
